Meet TNC and The Coach
I am Gil Tormans, and I’m deeply passionate about the science behind the human body and how we can improve ourselves as humans.

My goal is to share this knowledge and experience, helping as many people as possible improve their health, transform their bodies, or maximize their body’s capabilities. I do this in an educational and fascinating way, so they can better understand their own body, get smarter about nutrition, and continue to keep their body strong and healthy for the rest of their lives.

Since 2017, I’ve been guiding people as a nutrition and health coach toward a more efficient eating pattern tailored to their specific goals. My passion and interest in nutrition and its effects on our body actually started at a young age. This stemmed from being a bit stockier as a young kid, due to a genetically slower metabolism and my love for enjoying life. Because the social impact of this is significant in your early teen years, I wanted to do something about it and began my journey to address it and explore my interest in the human body. This was at the age of 13-14. After shedding my excess body fat, I decided a year later to physically strengthen myself and started combining my interest in nutrition with training. This interest kept growing year after year, and before I knew it, muscle building and sports became a part of my daily life. I gathered information from university studies in the US and England (because these studies are more reliable and up-to-date than outdated published ones) and learned from experts who had been in the field for decades.

At the age of 21, I competed in national fitness competitions and did some modeling on the side. I strived to make my body as strong and aesthetically pleasing as possible in a natural way, to become one of Belgium’s top natural athletes, proving that you can build your body without using harmful substances. Through social media, I promoted natural fitness and a healthy lifestyle, building a channel with a larger audience.

Due to numerous questions from athletes and acquaintances about body transformation, I decided to offer my knowledge in a structured way and founded Tormans Nutrition Coaching (TNC). Here, clients could get to know my coaching and work in a personal and educational way toward a better eating pattern, addressing complaints, and achieving their goals. Over the years, the coaching has been refined: from strict, black-and-white schedules to a flexible and effective approach that also takes into account the home situation and personal preferences. Now in 2025, the coaching has evolved further, with analyses that leave nothing overlooked, adjustable intensity, and the opportunity for the client to explore various nutrition combinations. During the program, the client has access to a unique dashboard where all content of the life-changing coaching program is available.

In addition to physical aspects, I delved deeper into the psychological impact of nutrition. I studied how food affects our brains and which substances influence motivation, energy levels, and overall well-being. This led to further research into how nutrition and lifestyle can optimize our mental and physical functioning.

It’s all about sustainable, science-based health optimization—not quick fixes, but long-term strategies that move you forward.

We live in a world full of distractions and misleading information, making it increasingly difficult to distinguish healthy habits from harmful ones. Take dopamine, for example—a brain chemical that makes us feel good and motivates us. Many modern habits—such as social media, processed food, and nicotine—manipulate this system, offering short-term rewards while undermining energy, willpower, and performance over time. By understanding how this works, you can make more conscious decisions and significantly improve your physical and mental health.

TNC guides clients based on their current habits, lifestyle, and the latest scientific insights. We help you systematically build better eating habits, optimize your body and performance, and provide you with the tools to maintain a healthy lifestyle in the long term.

To help more people, we’ve developed full coaching programs you can follow independently. These are tailored to your body and needs, allowing you to achieve maximum results with minimal coach involvement—at a lower cost.

For those not seeking coaching but who want to explore the science behind health and performance, we created Quick Improvement Plans (QIPs). These are concise, up-to-date summaries of the latest scientific insights, combined with practical applications. Many courses and books are outdated, while new technologies and studies continue to reshape our understanding. TNC ensures that our QIPs remain current, giving you easy access to the most relevant knowledge.

Coaching at TNC continues to evolve. As we support more people and encounter diverse challenges, we keep refining our methods. We have only one body and one life—why not make the most of it?

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

Coaching becomes more personal and flexible based on client feedback. Custom recipes are integrated, and the method is further refined.
TNC ORIGINS (2017)
TNC FORMULA (2018)
The first version of the TNC Formula is developed and successfully applied with clients.
TOP RATING (2021)
TNC gains a reputation for its high-quality and impactful coaching. With deeper insights into nutrition and psychology, advice is expanded to include sleep, stress, and eating disorders.
FUTURE (2022)
Ongoing optimization through in-depth research on nutrition, lifestyle, and health. Development of coaching and improvement plans for those who prefer self-guided progress.
Tormans Nutrition Coaching is founded. First clients start with personal coaching.
